Week of May 13th

Last week I had my best week in terms of both distance and time in training. I have been tracking my training timeanddistance since January and I have noticed a trend. Whenever I seem to have a string of good weeks, namely three, I tend to have small set backs in training for roughly a week. I tend to think it is due to over training. I'm not having the injuries, with the exception of my achiles tenden. It aches a little and is stiff in the morning. I noticed the injury after the 61 mile bike ride two weeks ago.

Anyhow, its not slowing my training down this week. I plan to do a brick and try to get in a long bike ride on Saturday.

This week my workouts are as follows:

Sunday - Run 8 miles
Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Rest
Wednesday - Run 4 miles
Thursday - Swim or run 4 miles
Friday - Bike 25 miles easy
Saturday - Swim 2 miles and Bike 40-50 miles and run2-3 miles
