Training Week of December 24th

Focusing on running with some biking during the week. I'm not swimming as much due to a case of carpal tunnel. I'm starting to feel stronger ont he runs. I'm mixing up tempo with my longer runs to push speed to some degree. This weeks planned workouts are:

Monday, December 25th - No training
Tuesday, December 26th - 4 Mile Tempo
Wednesday, December 27th - 4 Mile Easy
Thursday, December 28th - 4 Mile Tempo
Saturday, December 29th - 4 Miles Endurance Easy
Sunday, Decebmer 31st - 3 Miles Swim

Building Base For 2007

I've been hitting the running more lately to get a jump on the early running events in 2007. Last year, running was my biggest weakness, although I wasn't particulary strong in any one event. The USAT National Competition has also motivated me to keep moving ahead with my training.

Planning for 2007 Events

After the Detroit Free Half-Marathon in October, I've begun developing goals for 2007. As of today, my goals include: running the Detroit Free Press Marathon, 2-3 Olympic Triathlons, and a half Ironman (70.3).
